Community involvement has always been a part of our company’s heritage, and we believe that service to others is the catalyst for people to discover and fulfill their purpose. That starts with our team members and their families, then extends to our customers and the community. We have a dedicated community service team called BUILT 2 Serve and we encourage 100% participation by all team members in our annual service projects. We also encourage our extended SPM Family – customers, suppliers, and other businesses – to get involved, too.
SPM is a proud member of the local Chamber of Commerce, Rockwall Economic Development Center, North Texas Supply Chain Advisory Council, and a Board Member of the North Texas Central Workforce Commission. All of these organizations are heavily invested in community involvement.
Nationally, as part of our community involvement efforts, we support and participate in events for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Meals on Wheels, and the American Heart Association.

SPM has been opening our doors annually to celebrate and share modern manufacturing with our community. We work closely with our local school district to bring in students and inspire the next generation of manufacturers. Our mission is to show people that manufacturing is dynamic, engaging, and always growing.
We are passionate about education and learning not just for our current team members, but for the next generation of manufacturers as well. We are avid supporters of the Rockwall Independent School District, the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation, and the Rockwall ISD Education & Business Council.
We work closely with the Rockwall Robotics and Rockwall-Heath Robotics teams to provide materials, assist with projects, and support their manufacturing needs.
Our Mentorship Program and Internship Programs give students valuable work experience in support roles such as Engineering and Sales, as well as manufacturing roles like Quality and Welding.
